Accelerated
Medical Assistant Program

  • ​Provides training in both administrative and clinical procedures

  • The objective is to prepare graduates for entry-level positions as medical assistants in various settings

  • Positions include insurance billing clerks, medical billers, laboratory technicians, and medical receptionists

  • Work locations can range from hospitals, clinics, and nursing homes, to home health agencies

  • Program completion: 16 weeks

  • Divided into academic periods with online classroom instruction

  • Eligibility for graduation: successful completion of all courses and minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5

  • Upon completion of the program, graduates will be awarded a Diploma in Medical Assisting and test for a national CMCA exam certification
